ACS Cobham is situated on a beautiful 128-acre estate in the Surrey countryside and is very accessible to London families being 20 miles south of Central London, with a door-to-door busing network which extends into the heart of the London and the surrounding area.
ACS Cobham enrols over 1,350 students aged between 2 and 18 - Early Childhood through High School - offering both the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, and an American curriculum, including Advanced Placement (AP) courses. ACS educates a student body comprising over 70 nationalities, with British students making up the second largest student nationality group with around 12% of the total.
Our campus facilities are stunning and include an Early Childhood village; purpose-built Lower, Middle, and High School buildings; new Performing Arts Centre and Dining Hall, and a Dormitory. All Lower, Middle and High School buildings have separate classrooms, science labs, libraries, computer labs and art and music studios. Our state-of-the-art Performing Arts Centre opened in August 2014 and includes a 500-seater theatre as well as music technology and specialist rehearsal rooms. This sits alongside our 400-seater dining hall which opened last year.
In addition, students and teachers can now better interact with the world of learning around them through our recently opened 134 seat, Interactive Learning Centre complete with audio and video conferencing, delegate voting, microphones, cameras, DVD, VCR and online streaming media, WiFi access and full lecture facilities.
Campus sports facilities include six tennis courts, an Olympic-sized track, playing fields for football, rugby and baseball and a six-hole golf course. A state-of-the-art Sports Centre houses a 25-metre competition indoor swimming pool, basketball/volleyball show courts, dance and fitness studios, and a café.
The Dormitory provides a home-away-from-home for over 100 students, aged 12-18 (7th through 12th Grades). Boarders share ergonomically designed two-person rooms with ensuite facilities and internet connections; there are student lounges, kitchens, computer and study rooms.
Our outstanding IB exam results place ACS among the top independent schools in the UK and enable our students to attend the world's leading universities. ACS graduates attend leading universities including Cambridge, Imperial College London, LSE and Oxford in the UK, and Harvard, Princeton, Stanford and Yale in the USA.
