Portland Place School was founded in 1996 and is a central London day school for girls and boys between 9 and 18 years old. The academic curriculum, leading to GCSE and A-level, is supplemented by a wide range of dramatic, musical and sporting activities.

We believe that our current pupils and parents are our school's best ambassadors. I firmly hope that you will take the time to come and visit us to experience for yourself what gives Portland Place its special atmosphere.

You will find a warm, caring environment where every pupil is genuinely recognised as a unique individual.  A thriving and extensive extra-curricular complements academic study. We strive for excellence both inside and outside of the classroom by settig pupils (and ourselves)demanding but realistic targets.  

Boys and girls at Portland Place gain a sense of self-worth from being valued for who they are and for what they can contribute. This in turn instils a sense of self-belief, which is both the platform for academic achievement and success in later life.
