Established in 1987 and having recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, the future for Abercorn School has never looked brighter. Continuing to attract families from all corners of the world,Abercorn’s aim remains to offer children from 2 ½ to 13, the best start in education by providing a friendly, caring and inspiring academic atmosphere where they can freely access a broad and challenging curriculum.

We continuously evaluate each child’s development in order to foster individual talents and skills, and with the clear understanding that happiness is an essential prerequisite to the acquisition of knowledge; at Abercorn learning is serious but fun!

We place great emphasis on the importance of pastoral care, and although we are firm believers in traditional values and standards, we are committed to embracing the requirements of the 21st century, and preparing your child to face the challenges of the modern world with confidence. This is evident within the classroom with the school now introducing the integration of ICT from our reception classes, up to year’s 7 & 8 where we issue each child with their own Laptop to use within the classroom and at home.

At Abercorn we take great pride in guiding both pupils and parents through the educational journey to ensure your child reaches their full potential through individualised target setting and regular self evaluation for each child. We also communicate daily with our parents as we understand the important of school and families working together to help achieve these targets and strive for academic excellence.

Our sister schools in New York City and Austin continue to ensure that we don’t just teach with a global perspective, but are global in our philosophy. As such Abercorn has gained an enviable record of excellence and achievement in and outside the classroom, working with our families to gain places in top school in London and further afield. In recent years pupils have gained places or scholarships to City of London Boys, UCS, Mill Hill, Francis Holland, North London Collegiate, Westminster and St Pauls/Colet Court.

So why not come and see for yourself what Abercorn can offer you and your child by either joining us on one of our Open Day’s, or by contacting the school to book a private tour. We look forward to seeing you soon!
