Battersea Park is on the south side of the Thames, between Albert & Chelsea Bridge. The Evolution Centre is in the middle of the Park. There are good transport links.

Directions within park

> Use the entrance immediately south of Chelsea Bridge.

> Once inside the Park go along the North Carriage Drive.

> Take the 2nd exit off the small roundabout, signed Independent Schools Show.


The Park is outside the congestion charge zone


There are 200 free spaces at the Centre itself with 1000 pay & display places nearby.


To Sloane Square station (Circle & District lines)
then walk (approx 10 minutes) via Lower Sloane Street, Chelsea Bridge Road, Chelsea Bridge and turn into park (see directions within park above)

Bus: 137 or 452 from Sloane Square (see directions within park)

Queenstown Road Station:
From Vauxhall take a 156 or 344 bus to Queenstown Road, or travel by alternative routes.

Battersea Park Station:
Exit Station to right along Battersea Park Road, walk 50m to traffic lights. Right into Queenstown Road, walk 150m. Park is on the left. (see directions within park above)

Victoria Station:
Take train to Battersea Park Station (see directions within park above)
(or take 44 bus from Victoria to Battersea Park)


There is a black cab rank outside Sloane Square tube station (few minutes ride away).

Opening Times: 10am - 4.30pm or dusk. Advised last admission is 1/2 hour before closing time

Yes, The Battersea Evolution has free parking for 200 cars and a larger car park next to the venue. Parking marshals will assist.

Yes, we encourage children to come along and meet the schools, we also have Sharky & George entertainment, a fully staffed crèche and many more activities. Also, Battersea Park has a zoo and adventure playground.

Perhaps the Head, but certainly the Senior Admissions staff, who explain how their school works, what it offers and why it might be right for your child.

Come to the Show. Come and find a member of our staff. We'll sit down with you, discuss any concerns and make suggestions as to suitable schools to meet, based on your child.

Expect to spend a couple of hours visiting stands and short listing schools.

Entry to the show is free, providing you have registered in advance. On entry, you will be given a free official show guide, which provides detailed information on each and every school at the show.

Yes. You can ask each school whose stand you visit about their own provision.

Yes, food and drink is available in the Organic Café.

In order to get the most from your visit to the show it's a good idea to draw up a shortlist in advance of schools you'd like to meet. With this in mind, we have designed a location search service. You can also browse schools by age, and plot your route around the show using the floor plan.
